\"\"Oggi parleremo di Remnant: From the Ashes<\/strong>, gioco lanciato da Gunfire Games<\/strong> (gli stessi della serie Darksiders<\/strong>, per intenderci) che punta ad ottenere il titolo di gioco \u201cSoulsLike\u201d<\/em>: quindi l\u2019obiettivo principale \u00e8 semplicemente punire il \u201cmalcapitato\u201d giocatore. A parte una partenza davvero sottotono, forse dovuta ad una mancanza di pubblicit\u00e0 e di Hype, cercheremo di analizzare pregi e difetti di questo piccolo diamante allo stato grezzo.<\/p>\n

\n

COSA CI ASPETTA<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

La storia si svolge in una terra devastata, post apocalittica, dai gradevolissimi, anche se alle volte superficiali toni Lovecraftiani<\/em>. L\u2019impostazione \u00e8 abbastanza semplice: tu sei l\u2019eroe e sei l\u2019unico a poter salvare il mondo dai Root<\/strong>, le radici del male. Si tratta principalmente di demoni, mostri giganti e creature infernali sempre pi\u00f9 infuriate.<\/p>\n

In questo gioco andare in profondit\u00e0 \u00e8 escluso considerando quanto sia restio a dare dettagli succosi durante la progressione. Questo cosa denota? Denota una voluta aura di mistero per invogliare il giocatore a spulciare il titolo o una mancanza di profondit\u00e0 della trama alla base? Secondo me pi\u00f9 la seconda.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

La maggior parte dei giocatori lo ha definito \u201cil DarkSouls con le armi da fuoco<\/em>\u201d con un certo grado di ragione, anche se analizzando in profondit\u00e0 il titolo, possiamo notare alcune differenze con i titoli FromSoftware<\/em>. La principale differenza \u00e8 la difficolt\u00e0<\/strong>: anche se si pu\u00f2 comprendere che in questo specifico discorso ci sono molte variabili (prima tra tutte la skill specifica del giocatore), c\u2019\u00e8 da dire che questo titolo risulta forse un po’ troppo facile rispetto ad altri titoli SoulsLike<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Difatti non mancheranno situazioni in cui si avanzer\u00e0 in diverse aree arrivando ai checkpoint fin troppo facilmente, senza mai morire. Se dovessi prendere per un confronto \u201cSekiro: Shadows Die Twice<\/em>\u201d, considerato da alcuni il titolo FromSoftware<\/em> pi\u00f9 facile (assolutamente non d\u2019accordo), direi che siamo su due piani totalmente differenti. In Sekiro OGNI area \u00e8 difficile da attraversare senza perdere la vita. \u00c8 come se Remnant dicesse al giocatore:<\/p>\n

\u201cVorrei punirti, ma mi fai troppa tenerezza\u201d<\/strong>. Un altro aspetto critico da analizzare riguarda il Level Design che risulta poco variegato e che lascia trasparire una certa trascuratezza nei dettagli. Capiteranno infatti situazioni, soprattutto in alcuni \u201cDungeon\u201d, dove le texture e il percorso sono ESATTAMENTE identiche ad altri dungeon.<\/p>\n

Prendendo sempre Sekiro come riferimento si pu\u00f2 notare una differenza abissale: difatti in Sekiro ogni ambiente era una bellezza per la vista, sempre diverso e anche molto dinamico. In Remnant tutto questo non esiste. Sembra abbiano voluto fare un riciclo estremo degli ambienti di gioco, e sicuramente ci\u00f2 far\u00e0 storcere il naso ai giocatori pi\u00f9 raffinati.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Per il resto \u00e8 un buon gioco<\/strong>; Il sistema a 3 classi permette al giocatore di scegliere lo stile che pi\u00f9 si adatta al proprio modo di giocare. Le classi sono appunto: il Cacciatore<\/em>, specializzato nel combattimento a lungo raggio, con fucile da caccia, pistola a ripetizione e spada (scelto dal sottoscritto, amante degli scout).<\/p>\n

L’Ex Accolito<\/em>, specializzato nel combattimento a media distanza con doppietta e pistola a ripetizione. E infine l’Attaccabrighe<\/em>, chiaramente pensato per il combattimento ravvicinato. Qualsiasi sia la scelta si avranno a disposizione sempre un\u2019arma principale, una secondaria e un\u2019arma bianca (spada o ascia) che risulta pressoch\u00e9 inutile.<\/p>\n

Qualsiasi elemento di gioco risulta potenziabile, che sia un pezzo dell\u2019armatura o di un\u2019arma. Infine ci sono le Mod, bonus da attivare una volta che l’arma che trasporta la specifica mod \u00e8 pronta. Si caricano con l\u2019utilizzo dell\u2019arma e possono avere effetti passivi o attivabili per un determinato lasso di tempo.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A livello prestazionale il titolo non se la cava affatto male<\/strong> mantenendo il pi\u00f9 delle volte un framerate piuttosto alto e stabile con pc di media-alta fascia. Gli unici momenti di calo sono le fasi pi\u00f9 concitate con numerosi nemici in movimento, cosa abbastanza comune in questo tipo di giochi. Gli effetti grafici sono notevoli, anche se a volte risulta tutto troppo \u201cpastoso\u201d e troppo \u201clucido\u201d. Per il resto non c\u2019\u00e8 niente degno di nota.<\/p>\n

IN CONCLUSIONE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Possiamo concludere che Remnant \u00e8 un buon shooter con tratti RPG e Horror Survivor che incorpora in s\u00e9 dei tratti Action. Tattico e frenetico al punto giusto, ha enormi potenzialit\u00e0 che potrebbero sbocciare con eventi stagionali da affrontare con gli amici. Personalmente l\u2019ho trovato piacevole, anche se a tratti troppo facile e monotono. Speriamo non faccia la fine di Anthem, insomma.<\/p>\n
