Negli ultimi anni, abbiamo visto i videogiochi espandersi in vari settori, dai film, alle serie TV e persino alle attrazioni dei parchi a tema. Seguendo l’esempio del Super Nintendo World, Minecraft ha recentemente firmato un accordo per aprire diverse attrazioni a tema parco a tema, a partire dal 2026.<\/p>\n

Come riportato da The Guardian<\/em>, Microsoft ha raggiunto un accordo con il pi\u00f9 grande operatore di parchi tematici in Europa, Merlin Entertainment<\/em>, per portare attrazioni a tema Minecraft in diverse localit\u00e0 nel mondo.<\/p>\n

A partire da Regno Unito e Stati Uniti, saranno investiti oltre 85 milioni di sterline in due location a tema Minecraft, che saranno situate in parchi esistenti o in nuovi parchi nei centri citt\u00e0, con apertura prevista tra il 2026 e il 2027.<\/p>\n

Con pi\u00f9 di 135 attrazioni sotto il suo marchio, Merlin Entertainment<\/em> ha piani ambiziosi per il futuro a lungo termine delle sue attrazioni Minecraft, con l’idea di espandere la partnership Adventures Made Real<\/em> anche in altre nazioni e regioni nel tempo.<\/p>\n

Kayleen Walters, vicepresidente dello sviluppo del franchise di Microsoft per il gaming, ha commentato l’accordo dicendo: “Siamo ovunque digitalmente, Merlin \u00e8 ovunque fisicamente. Si tratta di come espandere Minecraft oltre il gioco. Mojang e Microsoft sono esperti di Minecraft e del marchio, Merlin \u00e8 esperta in esperienze basate sulla location; \u00e8 una visione condivisa.”<\/p>\n

Non \u00e8 il primo parco a tema basato su un videogioco ad aprire, visto che il Super Nintendo World \u00e8 gi\u00e0 operativo da qualche anno in Giappone e negli Stati Uniti.<\/p>\n

La popolarit\u00e0 di Minecraft va ben oltre il gioco stesso, e quindi questo accordo potrebbe rivelarsi molto redditizio sia per Microsoft che per Merlin Entertainment. Sar\u00e0 interessante vedere come si evolver\u00e0.<\/p>\n
