Eccellente risulta essere la modalit\u00e0 ECO che permette di impostare il TDP a 65W, andando di fatto a tagliare i consumi del 44% a fronte di un calo prestazionale nel multi-thread del 33%. AMD consiglia per questa CPU un sistema di raffreddamento a liquido AIO da 280mm. In commercio arriveranno presto ben due modelli, il ThreadRipper 3970X e il ThreadRipper 3960X, dotati rispettivamente di 24 e 32 core con supporto alla tecnologia Simultaneous Multithreading.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hwlegend.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Rilasciati-ufficialmente-i-nuovi-AMD-Ryzen-ThreadRipper-3a-gen-e-Ryzen-9-3950X-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-140956\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hwlegend.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Rilasciati-ufficialmente-i-nuovi-AMD-Ryzen-ThreadRipper-3a-gen-e-Ryzen-9-3950X-4-1024x522.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"522\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Il modello Ryzen ThreadRipper 3970X da 32 core\/64 thread dispone di una frequenza base di 3,7 GHz che diventa in modalit\u00e0 Boost di 4,5 GHz. Tale CPU presenta ben 144MB di cache. Il Ryzen ThreadRipper 3960X invece opera a 3,8 GHz che diventano in modalit\u00e0 Boost 4,5 GHz. In questo caso la cache \u00e8 di 140MB.<\/p>\n<p>Le CPU ThreadRipper 3a gen nascono per essere installate sulle nuove piattaforme con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hwlegend.tech\/news\/varie\/svelate-le-nuove-schede-madri-msi-trx40-per-i-processori-amd-threadripper\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><em><strong>chipset TRX40<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> e socket sTRX4, in grado di fruttare al meglio le DDR4 Quad-Channel a 3200 MHz e fino a 88 linee PCI-E 4.0, in modo tale da garantire, rispetto al chipset di precedente generazione, una larghezza di banda complessiva 4 volte superiore.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hwlegend.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Rilasciati-ufficialmente-i-nuovi-AMD-Ryzen-ThreadRipper-3a-gen-e-Ryzen-9-3950X-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-140958\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hwlegend.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Rilasciati-ufficialmente-i-nuovi-AMD-Ryzen-ThreadRipper-3a-gen-e-Ryzen-9-3950X-5-1024x541.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"541\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Il Ryzen ThreadRipper 3970X e il Ryzen ThreadRipper 3960X risultano rispettivamente del 90 e del 54% pi\u00f9 veloci, nel test multi-threading del Cinebench R20, rispetto al Core i9-9980X di Intel. I prezzi di vendita saranno di 1999 e 1399 dollari rispettivamente per il ThreadRipper 3970X e per il Ryzen ThreadRipper 3960X.
