primi test indipendenti mostrano infatti un incremento delle prestazioni nei videogiochi che pu\u00f2 raggiungere il <strong data-start=\"626\" data-end=\"634\">4,5%<\/strong>, confermando i dati anticipati da AMD al momento dell&#8217;annuncio.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"978\">Le prove sono state condotte dal portale specializzato <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hardwareluxx.de\/index.php\/artikel\/hardware\/arbeitsspeicher\/69584-vereinfachtes-tuning-der-sub-timings-g-skill-trident-z5-neox-rgb-mit-expo-ull-im-test.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HardwareLuxx<\/a>, che ha confrontato diversi kit DDR5 su piattaforma AMD Ryzen, evidenziando come il nuovo profilo <strong>EXPO ULL<\/strong> riesca a migliorare il frame rate senza richiedere interventi manuali sull&#8217;overclock della memoria.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"978\"><a data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1314\">\n<li data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1283\">tRRD;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1284\" data-end=\"1291\">tFAW;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1473\">Queste ottimizzazioni consentono di ridurre la latenza della memoria e migliorare le prestazioni in alcuni carichi di lavoro, in particolare nei videogiochi.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1651\">L&#8217;attivazione \u00e8 estremamente semplice: \u00e8 sufficiente selezionare il profilo EXPO ULL nel BIOS della scheda madre, a patto di utilizzare moduli compatibili e un BIOS aggiornato.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"1653\" data-end=\"1693\"><strong>La configurazione utilizzata nei test<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"1695\" data-end=\"1759\">Per la prova comparativa \u00e8 stato impiegato un sistema basato su:<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul data-start=\"1761\" data-end=\"1879\">\n<li data-start=\"1761\" data-end=\"1796\">processore <strong data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"1795\">AMD Ryzen 7 9700X<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1797\" data-end=\"1879\">kit <strong data-start=\"1803\" data-end=\"1849\">G.Skill Trident Z5 NeoX DDR5-6000 EXPO ULL<\/strong> con timing <strong data-start=\"1861\" data-end=\"1878\">CL36-36-36-76<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"1881\" data-end=\"1916\">La memoria \u00e8 stata confrontata con:<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul data-start=\"1918\" data-end=\"2073\">\n<li data-start=\"1918\" data-end=\"1990\">un kit DDR5-6000 tradizionale <strong data-start=\"1950\" data-end=\"1971\">CL30-36-36-76-112<\/strong> privo di EXPO ULL;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1991\" data-end=\"2073\">un kit DDR5-5600 <strong data-start=\"2010\" data-end=\"2031\">CL40-40-47-77-117<\/strong>, appartenente a una fascia pi\u00f9 economica.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"2075\" data-end=\"2117\"><strong>Prestazioni superiori in diversi giochi<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"2119\" data-end=\"2195\">I risultati mostrano un miglioramento costante, anche se non rivoluzionario.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"2197\" data-end=\"2304\">Nei titoli maggiormente sensibili alla latenza della memoria sono stati registrati incrementi interessanti.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"2306\" data-end=\"2324\"><strong>Cyberpunk 2077<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul data-start=\"2325\" data-end=\"2383\">\n<li data-start=\"2325\" data-end=\"2348\">+4,5% negli FPS medi.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2349\" data-end=\"2383\">+5,5% negli FPS minimi (1% Low).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"2385\" data-end=\"2394\"><strong>F1 25<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul data-start=\"2395\" data-end=\"2444\">\n<li data-start=\"2395\" data-end=\"2418\">+4,3% negli FPS medi.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2419\" data-end=\"2444\">+3,8% negli FPS minimi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"2446\" data-end=\"2667\">Il kit EXPO ULL \u00e8 riuscito inoltre a superare anche un tradizionale kit DDR5 con timing <strong data-start=\"2534\" data-end=\"2542\">CL26<\/strong>, dimostrando come la semplice latenza CAS non rappresenti pi\u00f9 l&#8217;unico parametro determinante per le prestazioni complessive.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"2446\" data-end=\"2667\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hwlegend.tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/G.Skill-DDR5-EXPO-ULL-i-benchmark-confermano-un-incremento-delle-prestazioni-nei-giochi-1.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" data-end=\"2776\">Non tutti i giochi, tuttavia, mostrano incrementi significativi.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"2778\" data-end=\"2802\">Nei test effettuati con:<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul data-start=\"2804\" data-end=\"2863\">\n<li data-start=\"2804\" data-end=\"2824\">Baldur&#8217;s Gate 3;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2825\" data-end=\"2841\">Arc Raiders;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2842\" data-end=\"2863\">Counter-Strike 2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"2865\" data-end=\"2955\">il guadagno prestazionale si \u00e8 fermato intorno al <strong data-start=\"2915\" data-end=\"2921\">2%<\/strong> o addirittura a valori inferiori.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2957\" data-end=\"3120\">Questo comportamento conferma come l&#8217;efficacia del profilo EXPO ULL dipenda fortemente dal motore grafico e dalla sensibilit\u00e0 del gioco alla latenza della memoria.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"3122\" data-end=\"3168\"><strong>I risultati confermano le dichiarazioni AMD<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"3170\" data-end=\"3297\">I benchmark ottenuti risultano sostanzialmente in linea con quanto dichiarato da AMD durante la presentazione della tecnologia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3299\" data-end=\"3409\">L&#8217;azienda aveva infatti parlato di un incremento medio del <strong data-start=\"3358\" data-end=\"3364\">4%<\/strong> calcolato su un campione di circa 30 giochi.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3411\" data-end=\"3609\">I test indipendenti dimostrano che alcuni titoli possono superare tale valore, mentre altri offrono vantaggi pi\u00f9 contenuti, mantenendo comunque una media complessiva coerente con le stime ufficiali.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"3611\" data-end=\"3650\"><strong>Conviene acquistare un kit EXPO ULL?<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"3652\" data-end=\"3749\">Attualmente le memorie EXPO ULL hanno un prezzo superiore rispetto ai tradizionali kit DDR5 EXPO.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3751\" data-end=\"3921\">Nel caso del modello <strong data-start=\"3772\" data-end=\"3799\">G.Skill Trident Z5 NeoX<\/strong> testato da HardwareLuxx, il sovrapprezzo \u00e8 di circa <strong data-start=\"3852\" data-end=\"3866\">30 dollari<\/strong> rispetto a un kit equivalente privo del nuovo profilo.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3923\" data-end=\"4147\">Per chi deve acquistare una nuova memoria DDR5, la differenza di prezzo risulta relativamente contenuta e permette di ottenere un incremento prestazionale immediato senza dover intervenire manualmente sui parametri del BIOS.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"4149\" data-end=\"4185\"><strong>L&#8217;alternativa \u00e8 il tuning manuale<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"4187\" data-end=\"4313\">Gli utenti pi\u00f9 esperti possono ottenere risultati simili modificando manualmente i timing della memoria direttamente dal BIOS.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4315\" data-end=\"4535\">Questa soluzione richiede per\u00f2 numerose prove di stabilit\u00e0 e una buona conoscenza dell&#8217;overclock delle DDR5, oltre a una certa fortuna legata alla qualit\u00e0 del controller di memoria del processore e dei moduli installati.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4537\" data-end=\"4753\">Le memorie EXPO ULL rappresentano quindi una soluzione pi\u00f9 semplice e sicura, poich\u00e9 vengono certificate direttamente dal produttore per funzionare con timing ottimizzati senza compromettere la stabilit\u00e0 del sistema.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"4755\" data-end=\"4805\"><strong>Un piccolo incremento, ma facilmente ottenibile<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p data-start=\"4807\" data-end=\"5264\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Pur non trattandosi di un miglioramento rivoluzionario, i nuovi kit <strong data-start=\"4875\" data-end=\"4900\">G.Skill DDR5 EXPO ULL<\/strong> dimostrano che una gestione pi\u00f9 aggressiva dei timing pu\u00f2 tradursi in un aumento misurabile delle prestazioni nei videogiochi.
